Questions before you travel
Launch plans include a fixed amount of mobile data for a stated validity period in Japan. They do not include ordinary calls, SMS, or a phone number.
It must support eSIM and be carrier-unlocked. Model name alone is not enough because some regional or carrier variants differ.
Install on reliable Wi-Fi only after reading the plan's activation policy. Some plans start at installation; others start when they first connect to a supported network.
Usually, on a compatible dual-SIM phone. Select the eSIMNavigator line for data and keep the US line for calls or texts. Your home carrier may still charge for roaming activity.
These apps use mobile data and normally work when the plan has a connection. Keep the existing account number selected and avoid changing numbers unless you intend to.
No. 5G depends on the exact plan, local partner network, location, congestion, device, and network settings. Only verified 5G details appear on a plan card.
Only when the exact plan states that hotspot is allowed. A missing or pending label means eSIMNavigator has not verified it yet.
Keep it installed, use Wi-Fi, check the selected data line, roaming and APN instructions, then contact eSIMNavigator Support. Do not delete a one-time profile unless support confirms it can be replaced.
